Frankly, there is no reason not to. The reports are free because they have been mandated by the government to allow us to review and ensure that our credit score - an extremely important number - is based off of correct information.

Yes. If you don ' t want to manually fill out these forms every 4 months there are services that will do the work for you if you authorize them to send you a free credit report. They don ' t charge anything because they want to show you how easy their service is to use.
